Who we are

Capivar ("we," "us") is a d/b/a of Mainstay Capital, LLC. This policy describes what we collect on capivar.com and how we use it. Questions: hello@capivar.com.

What we collect

• Email address — when you join the alpha waitlist, we store the email address you submit, along with the signup source, a timestamp, and a record that you agreed to the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy (and when).
• Reservation payments — if you place a $25 Early Adopter reservation, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details; Stripe shares your email and payment status with us. See Stripe's privacy policy for how Stripe handles your data.
• Analytics and advertising data — when our analytics tools are active, this site may use the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4. These tools collect device and usage information (such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser characteristics, and interactions with the page, which may include button clicks and form interactions collected automatically by Meta's event tooling) and set cookies or similar identifiers. We use this data to measure ad performance and understand site usage.
• Server logs — our hosting infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses.

What we do with it

• Email you about Capivar alpha access and launch updates.
• Measure advertising performance and site conversion.
• Operate, secure, and improve the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use waitlist data for anything other than Capivar communications and measurement.

Who we share it with

Service providers only, to run the site: Amazon Web Services (hosting and waitlist storage), Stripe (payments), Meta and Google (analytics/advertising measurement, when active). Each processes data under its own terms. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

• Waitlist data (your email address, signup source, timestamp, and terms-agreement record) is kept while the Capivar launch program is active and for 24 months after your last interaction with us, after which it is deleted.
• Reservation and payment records are kept for as long as tax, accounting, and regulatory record-keeping obligations require.
• Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of Google and Meta.

Your choices

• You can unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time via the link in any email, or by writing to us.
• You can ask us to delete your email from the waitlist at any time — you do not need to wait for the retention period above — by contacting hello@capivar.com; we will honor verified requests.
• You can limit analytics cookies through your browser settings and standard opt-out tools provided by Meta and Google.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will update this page as the product evolves (for example, when analytics tools are turned on or off) and revise the date above.
